Bowen therapy was created by a gentleman named Tom Bowen (1916-1982) from Geelong Australia. Tom had an innate sense of body function and structure and was able to effect healing in a great number of people with a wide range of ailments. The Victorian government inquired into his practice in 1975 and found that he had achieved great success treating over 13,000 clients per year with bowen therapy.
